HOPE ACADEMY 2018 will be held from June 14-16 at Black Mountain Elementary in Harlan, Kentucky. For those planning to be a part of Hope Academy, please contact Ginger Forbes.
HELP STOCK THE HOPE ACADEMY STORE: Even if you can't be a part of the Hope Academy TEam this year, you can still help by bringing in items to stock the Hope Store! At the end of Hope Academy, the families who have attended classses and helped our team with work projects are invited to take items from the Hope Store. Beginning Sunday, May 6, your family can select an item to purchase for the Hope Store. The purchase tags will be available at the end of the Children's Hall. The items purchased need to be returned to the church by Sunday, June 10. Thank you for your generosity in "Helping Extend the Hope!"
SENIOR MEALS MINISTRY is a partnership of churches who take turns on Saturdays delivering lunches and making welfare checks for elderly and the disabled in West Knox County.
How You Can Help: Plan, shop, prepare, and/or deliver meals once a month.

WOMEN: COMPASSION MINISTRY September 21 - April 19 - We will join Compassion Ministries to pack food for 130 Farragut Primary and Intermediate School students in need. From 12:30-1:30pm on the 3rd Thursday of each month, we will package food that can be inconspicuously placed in student backpacks each Friday during the school year. At noon, we'll gather at CCPC to eat lunch together (bring your own lunch!). At 12:30, we will travel .2 miles down Kingston Pike to Cornerstone Church of God where Compassion Ministries is housed. Feel free to meet there if it's more convenient.
HELPING SINGLE MOTHERS-- It’s hard to be a single parent. A recent study by the Restoration House revealed that around 40% of Knox County families are led by single-parents. Would you like to get involved and help a mother and her children? Contact Pat Smith to help with this ministry.

THE ADULT CHOIR is open to new members college age and up. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7:00 pm in the rehearsal hall, beginning August through early May. The primary focus of the Adult Choir is to lead in worship on Sunday mornings, although they also present special programs during the year.
