Choices Resource Center
Since 1992, Choices Resource Center has been providing support for women and men facing the challenges of an unplanned pregnancy. All of their services are free and available to everyone, regardless of age, religion, race or gender. Their caring staff provides physical, emotional and spiritual resources, while advocating for the sanctity of human life and sharing the love of Jesus Christ with their clients. Their services are made possible by the support of our local community, who help provide volunteer, financial and material resources for our pregnancy resource center.
How You Can Help: If you’re interested in volunteering your time, please contact Choices to learn more about available opportunities. We will do our best to match your skills and interests with tasks that help us fulfill our mission. All volunteer contributions, no matter how small or large, are greatly appreciated! Opportunities to help include: parenting class teachers, office volunteers, peer counselors, repairs/maintenance, being a prayer partner, participating in the annual Walk for Life in the fall.
Walk for Life
Choices Resource's Walk for Life raises awareness about their services as well as raising much needed financial support. The Walk is a simple 2 mile course that you can navigate at your own pace. The event only takes about an hour, but the difference you make lasts a lifetime. They provide snacks and water; you bring your walking shoes, your family and even your dog! This event is held in October each year.
Bottles for Babies
On “Sanctity of Life” Sunday we partner with Choices Resource Center, a local resource center that gives support to those who have been affected by unplanned pregnancies and related issues. You can help this ministry by praying for the safety and salvation of mothers and their preborn children and by contributing to their “Bottles for Babies Campaign.”
