The nursing center in Lenoir City is the flagship facility for Tennessee Baptist Adult Homes. It continues to be so not just because it was the first residential ministry of TBAH but also because of its long-standing reputation as an excellent healthcare facility. Baptist Health Care Center has received the highest Five-Star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid since the rating system was initiated. There are 104 intermediate care beds presently. Skilled care beds are to be added in the near future. There is a full activity calendar as well as dietary and nursing provisions of high quality.
Tennessee Baptist Healthcare was founded in 1974 by the Tennessee Baptist Convention with the expressed purpose of leading Tennessee Baptists in developing a residential ministry for senior adults.
Baptist Healthcare of Lenoir City provides extended stay nursing care to seniors with varying levels of disabilities. Christ Covenant has adopted a hallway of 6-10 residents that we visit on a regular basis.
